Your first visit is a 90-minute comprehensive experience with a digital wellness scan and full-mouth X-rays, followed by a co-diagnosis session where we use intraoral cameras to review your oral health together and build a transparent, long-term plan.
Nervous?
Effective anaesthesia, gentle technique, frequent comfort checks, and the ability to pause whenever you need. Treatment can be split across shorter visits when that makes it easier.

Meet Dr. George Dahdouh, DDS
Dr. George Dahdouh earned his dental degree at New York University College of Dentistry and trained in a high-volume group practice handling everything from routine care to emergencies and complex implant and restorative cases. That pace taught him speed, and it taught him when not to use it. His focus is dental implants and full-mouth reconstruction, planned in 3D and placed with computer guidance so the final tooth sits exactly where it belongs. He is an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, an ADA member, was raised in New Jersey, and speaks English and Arabic.

How implants work
A new root, then a tooth that stays put.
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone where the root used to be. The bone grows around it, which gives the replacement tooth a foundation of its own. That is the difference from a bridge, which leans on the teeth beside it, and from a denture, which rests on the gums and moves.
Because the implant loads the bone the way a real root does, the jaw keeps its shape instead of shrinking. You brush and floss around it like a normal tooth, and it is built to last for decades rather than be replaced every few years.

Questions people ask before they start.
Is implant treatment painful?
Most patients tell us it was easier than they expected. You are kept comfortable with local anaesthesia and sedation options during the procedure, and any soreness afterward is usually mild and settles within a few days with basic care. Dr. Dahdouh plans every case in advance, so there are fewer surprises on the day.
How long does treatment take?
It depends on your bone, your gum health, and the solution that fits you. Some patients walk out with a fixed set of teeth the same day, while others need a healing window first. At your first visit you get a clear, personalised timeline so you know exactly what to expect.
Am I too old for implants?
Age by itself almost never rules you out. What matters more is your overall health, your bone quality, and how well you heal. Many implant patients are in their 60s, 70s, and beyond, and they do very well. The only way to know is a proper evaluation.
What if I was told I do not have enough bone?
You still may qualify. Many patients who were turned away elsewhere are told they lack bone, but modern planning, grafting, and sinus lifts often open the door again. We assess your bone with 3D imaging before ruling anything out.
What happens at the first visit?
This visit is about clarity, not pressure. In 90 minutes we complete a digital scan and full-mouth X-rays, review everything with you using intraoral cameras, explain your options and any payment plans in plain terms, and send you home with a long-term plan.
